2008 marks the tenth anniversary of Canadian churches working with the Natural Church Development (NCD) paradigm. In that time over 2500 NCD Surveys have been completed across more than 45 denominations providing an unprecedented body of information about the health of the Canadian Church. In this session, for the first time, Ian Campbell, the Director of NCD Canada, draws out some key findings and reflects on them based on his own ten years of experience with NCD.
Ian Campbell
Ian Campbell became the Canadian Director of Natural Church Development (NCD) in June 2007. Having been Director of NCD in Australia for many years, he was recommended for the Canadian position by Christian Schwarz, the founder of NCD. Ian has worked closely with Schwarz and the team at NCD International to develop NCD resources and training, now used internationally. He has extensive experience working with church leaders at local, provincial and national levels. He was a speaker at the inaugural NCD World Summit in Johannesburg in 2004. He did his theological training in Australia and has served as a pastor.
