Blue Like Jazz, Live is a solo theatrical multimedia performance based on the book of the same name, by acclaimed post-modern author, Donald Miller. It is a personal, raw and humorous reflection on spirituality, God, and community. It is an honest and unexpected journey - a scrapbook of one man's life. The performance incorporates the use of video and motion graphics and an original jazz music score. The purpose of Blue Like Jazz, Live, besides being an amazing theatrical experience, is to be a catalyst for drawing people into a deeper exploration of the soul and to foster community. ![]() Jason Hildebrand Jason Hildebrand is a professional actor, dramatist and performance coach. He has performed in theatre, film and television, and continues to tour the globe with his acclaimed solo performances. He also works with organizations, theatre and film companies and educational institutions throughout North America and Europe. His current solo performance repertoire includes: Blue Like Jazz, Live, Life of David, Prodigal Son Trilogy, Herod the Great, and Himself -The Story of A.B. Simpson.
